Geraldine Medlin

Geraldine "Hi-Ho" Medlin, 89, of Bradenton, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton.

She was born June 18, 1916, in Dyer County, Tenn., daughter of William Bostic and Bennie Stephenson Chitwood. She married Joseph "Daddy Joe" Medlin Aug. 18, 1935. He died Oct. 16, 1997.

Medlin was formerly of Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include two daughters, LaJean Bilbrey of Dallas, Texas, Margaret Dudeck of Eureka, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Festus, Mo.

Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
