Graveside service for Geraldine M. O'Brien of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lorimier Cemetery. The Rev. S.S. Borum will officiate.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation.
O'Brien, 84, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1993, at Cape LaCroix.
She was born May 22, 1909, in Oak Ridge, daughter of John Palmer and Sallie Eva Jenkins Malone. She married Carl P. O'Brien, who preceded her in death.
O'Brien taught school at Randles in the 1930s, and then taught more than 30 years at Lemay schools. She was a member of Missouri State Teachers Association.
Survivors include a son, John O'Brien of Texas, and a sister, Exeda Smith of Sacramento, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
