Geraldine Green

MAGNOLIA, Texas -- Geraldine Green, age 90, of Magnolia and formerly of St. Louis, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at HCA Houston Healthcare in Tomball, Texas.

She was born to Robert E. and Emma Susan Caroline Yount Presnell on May 9, 1929, in Patton, Missouri. She and Francis E. Green were united in marriage May 17, 1947, and he passed away March 31, 1980.

Geraldine worked as a teacher's assistant for Hubert Wheeler State School. She was a wonderful homemaker and a member of the Liberty Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Green of Marquand, Missouri; daughters, Debra Kastl of St. Louis and Marilyn Green and Sharon Brockwell of Magnolia; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and daughter, Carolyn Sue Green.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Shrum officiating. Burial will follow in the Patton Cemetery in Patton.
