Geraldine Green

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Geraldine A. Green, 59, of Chaffee died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 12, 1949, at Ellington, Mo., daughter of Truman and Lela Price Green.

Green attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Lela Green of Marble Hill, Mo.; a son, Michael Rice of Marble Hill; a daughter, Kelly Vester of Sikeston, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Vester officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery at Patton, Mo.
