SIKESTON -- Geraldine Ford, 86, Sikeston Route 2, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1995, at Miner Nursing Center. She was born May 30, 1908, in Marquand, daughter of William and Emma Davis Salyers. She and Clyde Ford were married Feb. 27, 1930, in Scott County. He died Aug. 20, 1971...

SIKESTON -- Geraldine Ford, 86, Sikeston Route 2, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1995, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born May 30, 1908, in Marquand, daughter of William and Emma Davis Salyers. She and Clyde Ford were married Feb. 27, 1930, in Scott County. He died Aug. 20, 1971.

Survivors include four sons, Dorsey Ford of Boynton, Fla., Dan Ford of Sikeston, Joe Ford of Poplar Bluff, Bob Ford of Austin, Texas; five daughters, Wanda Dirickson and Shirley Coleman of Sikeston, Charlotte Ford of Murray, Ky., Carol Marvel of Flint, Mich., Linda Dovers of Austin; 30 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons and two sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Amos Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
