CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Gerald Martin Williams, 71, of Chaffee died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at his home.

He was born Aug. 27, 1939, at Dutchtown, son of Ralph C. and Olivia M. Fredrick Williams.

Gerald was a retired teacher who taught in Missouri and Illinois schools.

Survivors include two brothers, Wayne (Mary) Chapman of Delta, and Rex (Marie) Williams of Chaffee.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at noon Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gavin Page officiating.

Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
