Gerald McCoy Jr.

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Gerald "Archie" McCoy Jr., 43, of Marble Hill passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 3, 1970, in Cape Girardeau, son of Gerald A. and Paula James McCoy Sr. He and Christy Brown were married July 2, 2005.

Gerald worked as a setup adjuster for Rubbermaid in Jackson. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his wife, Christy of Marble Hill; father and mother, Gerald and Paula McCoy Sr. of Jackson; a son, James Andrew McCoy of Marble Hill; four daughters, Judith McCoy of Cahokia, Illinois, Ashley McCoy of Belleville, Illinois, and Adrian and Airianna McCoy of Marble Hill.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, John and Paul.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Aaron Allen and Lloyd Ray Green officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
