THEBES, Ill. -- Gerald D. "Bink" Bryant, 58, of Racine, Wis., formerly of Thebes, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Racine.
He was born Aug. 20, 1945, at Thebes, son of Oscar and Lorene Orick Bryant.
Bryant was a truck driver and veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherrie White of Thebes; three sons, Kent Bryant of Cape Girar-deau, and Nicholas and Robbie Bryant of Elkhorn, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Tonya Dybee of Milwaukee, Wis., and Sonya Harrell of Chaffee, Mo.; two stepsons, Jimmy and Justin Frogett of Milwaukee; his mother, of Thebes; three sisters, Marvalee Monahan and Deloris White of Thebes and Peggy Maze of Sikeston, Mo.; one brother, Ronnie Bryant of Jonesboro, Ill.; an ex-wife, Debbie Bryant of Elkhorn, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Monahan officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes. Military honors will be provided by Pulaski County VFW 8891.
