MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Georgia Marie Spain, 72, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at her home.

She was born Nov. 27, 1935, in Fredericktown, Mo., daughter of George and Pearl Brown Lincoln. She and Frank D. Spain were married Nov. 15, 1951. He died Nov. 15, 1984.

Spain was a member of Old Union United Methodist Church at Bessville, Mo.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Robins of Marble Hill; a brother, George Lincoln; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Old Trace Creek Cemetery near Glenallen.
