CAIRO, Ill. -- Georgia M. Shuemaker, 78, of Cairo died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, at her home.
She was born Jan. 22, 1920, at Charleston, Mo., daughter of William and Pearl Foust Eidson. She married Loarn L. Shuemaker Sr., who died in 1990.
Shuemaker had been a teller at Security National Bank and a desk clerk at Morse Motel. She was a member of First Christian Church and had been recording secretary for the church board.
Survivors include stepchildren, step-grandchildren and great-step-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge. The Rev. Richard Pigg will officiate.
