CAPE GIRARDEAU 20Funeral service for Georgia Rose Harris of Cape Girardeau will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton. The Rev. Oscar Lukefahr will officiate and burial will be at the Old Morley Cemetery in Morley.

Ms. Harris died Monday at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was 87.

She born May 17, 1903 at Benton to the late Robert C. and Amelia Steimly Brock.

She was self-employed and owned a drug store at Troy for most of her life.

On Aug. 6, 1924, she married James V. Harris. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two brothers, Wade Brock of Benton and Robert Brock of Jackson; and two sisters, Rebecca Dirnberger of New Hamburg and Cathrine Henry of Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. A rosary service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. today.
