MORLEY -- Georgia P. Griffin, 71, of Morley, died Monday, March 9, 1992, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 31, 1921, at Cardwell, daughter of George W. and Beulah P. Flippo Hagy. She married John Murphy Griffin Feb. 17, 1940, at Benton.

Griffin was a member of Morley Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Ron Griffin of Bloomfield, John and Dick Griffin of Morley; four daughters, Betty Emerson of Morley, Sandy Abner of Bell City, Marsha Centanni of Scott City, Jane Rogers of Hillsboro; a sister, Blanche Wheeler of Oran; 23 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two grandsons, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Jim Robinson will officiate, with burial in New Morley Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
