PERRYVILLE -- Georgia Mae Mattingly, 85, of Perryville, died Friday, July 1, 1994, at Aspen Forest Care Center.
She was born Jan. 26, 1909, in Perry County, daughter of George and Anna Smith Boesch. She and William R. Mattingly were married Feb. 7, 1933. He died Feb. 23, 1968.
Mattingly was retired from Prince Gardener. She had been a Stanley Home Products dealer since 1960. She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church at Brewer, and Blessed Sacrament Sodality.
Survivors include a son, Delano Mattingly of Perryville; five daughters, Mary Ann Hotop, Sylvia Blessing, Virginia Finger and Eleanor Mecker of Perryville, Glenda Eng of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Dorothy Astasauskas of St. Louis; 42 grandchildren, and 65 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, four grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 2-9 p.m. Sunday, and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Monday. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Christ the Savior Church, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
