Georgia L. Huckstep, 84, of 2825 Bloomfield Rd. died Saturday, Feb. 26, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born August 25, 1909, at Fruitland, the daughter of Elmer and Kate Sides Davis. On Jan. 23, 1931, she married Roscoe Huckstep at Jackson. He preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1979.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Whitewater Methodist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Jerry Huckstep of Marble Hill, Joe and Jack Huckstep, both of Scott City, John Huckstep of Cape Girardeau, and Jerrold Huckstep of Jackson; five daughters, Judy Propst and Joan Foeste, both of Cape Girardeau, Jane Garcia of Joliet, Ill., and Janet Jones and Margaret Wissmann, both of Scott City; 27 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Vester Keesee will officiate, and burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
