GEORGIA JONES

WILSON CITY -- Georgia Jones, 91, of Wilson City, died Saturday, June 29, 1991, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 15, 1900, in Scobey, Miss.

Survivors include a daughter, Earlene Graham of Wilson City; seven sons, Ferl Jones of Cleveland, Ohio, Freddie Jones of Detroit, Mich., Vernel Jones of Richmond, Calif., Willie Jones of Ashtabula, Ohio, Oliver Jones Jr. and the Rev. Paul Jones Sr. of Salisbury, N.C., the Rev. O.C. Jones of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Beatrice Holly of Memphis, Tenn.; 55 grandchildren, and 59 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Wyatt. The Rev. T.R. Tyus will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 7-8 tonight.
