Georgia Evelyn Snyder, 80, 2038 Woodlawn, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 1995, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Feb. 7, 1915, at Neelys Landing, daughter of Edward and Prudence McClard Cotner. She and Donald Snyder were married May 14, 1937. He died April 13, 1987.

Snyder was a member of Red Star Baptist Church and its Women's Adult 6 Sunday School Class and Women's Missionary Union.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Snyder of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Janet Gleason of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Earl Cotner of Scott City, Jim Cotner of St. Charles; two sisters, Boots Loucks and Margaret Wilson of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
