George Welsh Jr.

George Welsh Jr., 69, of Goliad, Texas, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004.

He was born Nov. 14, 1934, in St. Louis, son of George and Mildred Ormsby Welsh Sr. He married Judith Ann Cotner.

Welsh was formerly of Missouri. He was employed by Akal Securities with the U.S. Marshals Service.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, George Welsh of St. Louis, Tracy Welsh of Cape Girardeau; his father of Stuart, Fla.; two sisters, Gladys Anderson of Pennsylvania, Claudette Ross of Maryland; two brothers, John and Jonathan Evenstad of St. Louis County.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
