COMMERCE -- George W. Kerley, 75, of Gila Bend, Ariz., died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1991, at Tucson VA Hospital in Tucson, Ariz.

He was born Feb. 22, 1916, at Commerce, son of Quillen H. and Prudence Shufflebarger Kerley. He and Lenore Neilsen were married March 21, 1943, in Nevada.

Kerley was a teamster in Sacramento, Calif., retiring in 1976 and moving to Gila Bend. He served in the European Theater during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Wesley Kerley of Alton, Ill., William Kerley of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Maggie of Dongola, Ill., Ruby of Ullin, Ill., and Beaulah of San Lorenzo, Calif.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers and a sister.

Memorial service and burial was in Arizona.
