JONESBORO, Ill. -- George T. Weaver, 54, of Louisville, Tenn., died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1993, at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville. He was born March 11, 1939, in Jonesboro, son of Charles B. and Ruby Coomes Weaver. He and Marita Hogue were married Sept. 3, 1960, in Jonesboro...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- George T. Weaver, 54, of Louisville, Tenn., died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1993, at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville.

He was born March 11, 1939, in Jonesboro, son of Charles B. and Ruby Coomes Weaver. He and Marita Hogue were married Sept. 3, 1960, in Jonesboro.

Weaver was professor of agriculture at the university in Knoxville.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bradley Weaver of Louisville, Douglas Weaver of Memphis, Tenn., Eric Weaver of Charlotte, N.C., and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Nancy Carrington Schmidt will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
