George E. Robinson, 42, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, as the result of a fire at his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lee and Lucy Carter Robinson.
Robinson was a graduate of Central High School. He had worked for the city of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department. He previously worked at Magna-Tel.
Survivors include four sisters, Mary Wilson of Elkhart, Ind., Ethel Stewart, Ada Jones, Fannie Ray, all of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Jimmie and Lee Robinson of Blytheville, Ark., Nehemiah Robinson of Leesburg, Va., and Theotis Robinson of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from noon to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
