SIKESTON -- George Addison "Chick" Reynolds, 80, of Sikeston died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Aug. 22, 1918, at Blodgett, son of Rowlett and Lillie Mae Rucker Reynolds. He and Villa P. "Toy" Tidwell on June 28, 1942, at Oran.
During World War II he was an airplane mechanic at the U.S. Air Base in Sikeston.
He ran Reynolds Garage and Wrecker Service until his retirement.
Reynolds was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. He was also a member of the Sikeston American Legion and a charter member of the Sikeston Jaycees.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Patricia Ann Patterson and Linda Gaye Harper, both of Sikeston, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Dr. Jim Davis will officiate, with the Rev. Rick Lasley assisting. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
