GEORGE R. HINTON

ALLENVILLE -- George Ralph Hinton, 76, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Monday, Nov. 20, 1995, in Phoenix.

He was born Sept. 1, 1919, in Allenville, son of George Dewey and Isabella Hampton Hinton. He and Vincentina Margaret Lamanuzzi were married Dec. 3, 1949.

Hinton had served in the U.S. Navy, and was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Marcella Seitz of Delmont, Calif.; two sons, George Hinton Jr. of Phoenix, James Hinton of Tempe, Ariz.; his stepmother, Eileen Hinton of Cape Girardeau; five half brothers, Gerald, Michael and Terry Hinton of Cape Girardeau, Benny Hinton of Jackson, Henry Hinton of Dexter; three half sisters, Nancy Irvine of Reno, Nev., Carolyn Klueppel and Marsha Hinton of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Burial will be in the National Memorial Cemetery.
