CHARLESTON -- George Rodney Drury, 42, of Vancouver, Wash., died Thursday, Sept. 1, 1994, at Immanuel Hospital in Portland, Ore.
He was born Aug. 4, 1952, in Charleston, son of Clifton and Ola McDaniel Drury.
Drury moved to Vancouver five years ago from Charleston. He was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church here, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a son, Donnie Drury of Charleston; his mother of Charleston; a brother, Fred Drury of Bertrand; a sister, Karen Manker of Punta Gorda, Fla.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 6 p.m. Monday.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Meeks officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, with military graveside rites by the Veterans Honor Guard in Poplar Bluff.
