SIKESTON -- George Wilson Maness, 60, of Sikeston died Monday, May 15, 2000, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 7, 1939, in Pemiscot County, son of Bruce and Mary Benton Maness. He and Margaret Woods were married July 13, 1974.
Maness was retired from Bunny Bread as a truck driver. He was a member of the Smith Avenue Church of God.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Karen Gentles of East Prairie and Dorothy Holmes of Sikeston; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Gerald Moss and Tommy Smotherman will officiate. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
