GEORGE LACLEAR

PERRYVILLE -- Private funeral for George F. LaClear of Perryville will be held today.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

LaClear, 83, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Lynwood, Calif., son of Susan LaClear Palmer.

LaClear was a supervisor 40 years at Southern California Gas Co. in Los Angeles County. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Dennis LaClear of Florissant, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister.
