George Lewis Honeywell, 67, 1801 Brink, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Mishawaka, Ind., son of Lorenzo and Alma Hanson Honeywell. He and Bianca Anderson were married May 29, 1954, in New Orleans.
Honeywell was in the U.S. Navy more than 30 years, having served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, VFW Post 3838, Masonic Lodge, Shriners, and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ann Albrecht of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Tim Honeywell of McMurray, Pa., George Honeywell II of Columbia; two brothers, Max Honeywell of Marion, Ind., Carl Honeywell of Bellaire, Ohio, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Michael Zoellner will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park, with military rites by VFW Post 3838.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m.
