ANNA, Ill. -- George Edwin Johnson Jr., 74, of Anna died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at his home.

He was born April 18, 1933, in Moline, Ill., son of George Edwin and Florence Elther Johnson Sr. He and Rebecca Ann "Becky" Crowell were married Oct. 11, 1990, in Jonesboro.

Johnson worked at Bear's Manufacturing Co. in Rock Island, Ill. He was a member of Oasis of Grace Church.

Survivors include his wife and three sisters, Donna Johnson and Betty Johnson of Moline and Marian Edwards of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in McGinnis Cemetery.
