GEORGE JERALD FOX

ULLIN -- George Jerald Fox, 62, of Ullin, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1996, at his home.

He was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Cobden, Ill., the son of John Knupp and Lela Mae Wilson Fox. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 VFW in Anna. He worked as a machine operator.

He married Patricia Mary Ellen May on Sept. 16, 1996, in Wickliffe, Ky., who survives him.

He is also survived by his mother, two sons, William Fox, of Anna, Ill., and Robert Fox, of Dongola; one daughter, Patricia Ann Pearl, of Anna; three step-daughters, Patsy Ann McCall, of Granite City, Ill., Jacqueline Lynn Hazen, of Festus, and Lisa Gayle Staten, of Columbia; six brothers, Gene and Richard Fox, both of Anna, Wesley Fox, of Alto Pass, James Fox, of Cobden, John and Paul Fox, both of St. Louis; six sisters, Norma Lou Fox and Frankie Barker, both of Cobden, Norma Lee Pirtle, of Elgin, Nona Bea Bannister, of Crete, Hattie Jane Grace, of Lanesville, Ind., and Alice Sue Darby, of Louisville, Ky.; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three grandchildren.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Mark Best officiating. Burial will be in the Casper Cemetery with full military honors by Anna VFW Post 3455.
