George Friedrich

ADVANCE, Mo. -- George "Eddie" Friedrich, 74, of Advance passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 9, 1935, at Advance, son of George and Elsie "Rose" Lee Friedrich.

Eddie was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a brother, Bill Friedrich of Advance; and two nephews, Ronnie Sitz of Dallas, Ga., and Donnie Sitz of Arab, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lila Mae Sitz.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ted Stone officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
