George Brown, 61, of Stewart, Tenn., died Sunday, March 15, 1992, at Trinity Hospital in Erin, Tenn.
He was born March 21, 1930, in St. Louis, son of Carl and Pearl Brake Brown. He first married Mariko Koyama Sept. 24, 1958. She survives. He later married Kathryn Oltman, who also survives.
Brown retired from the U.S. Navy in June 1967. He had worked for Orkin Exterminating Co. in Cape Girardeau and Clarksville, Tenn. He moved from Cape Girardeau in 1974.
Other survivors include a daughter, Barbara Norder of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Frederick Ulrich of Edmundson, Canada, and a stepdaughter, Lois Metzger of Lawrence, Kan.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park, with the Rev. Craig Nessan officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by personnel at Ft. Leonard Wood, and by the Naval Reserve Training Center here.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation here.
