George A. Sudholt, 76, of Melbourne Beach, Fla., died Monday, March 27, 1995, at his home. He was born May 11, 1918, at Union. George A. Sudholt, 76, of Melbourne Beach, Fla., died Monday, March 27, 1995, at his home.

He was born May 11, 1918, at Union.

Sudholt had been a county agriculture agent in Shelbyville for the University of Missouri, and later worked 20 years with Farm Bureau in Cape Girardeau. He moved to Brevard County in 1977 from Cape Girardeau.

He was a graduate of the University of Missouri, and received a master's degree from Southeast Missouri State University.

Sudholt was a member of VFW Post 4536 in Melbourne, and Melbourne Shores Property Association. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Martha; three daughters, Martha Sudholt of Greensboro, N.C., Dr. Ann Currie of Edinburgh, Scotland, Mary Kellog of Longmont, Colo.; two brothers in Missouri, and five grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne is in charge of arrangements.
