JACKSON -- George A. Rhodes, 60, of Jackson died July 24, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born at Bessville, Mo., April 24, 1933, to the late Joseph A. and Nancy Jane Kirkpatrick Rhodes.
He is survived by his mother of Marble Hill; one son, Donald Rhodes of Scott City; six brothers, Elmer Rhodes of Texas, Carl, Raymond, Delzie and Kenny Rhodes of Marble Hill, and Elzie Rhodes of Patton; two sisters, Thelma Dippold of Cape Girardeau and Norma Jean Jarrell of Dexter; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters and one grandson.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Plainview United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held today after 5 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes and the Rev. Robert Bowen officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery near Marble Hill.
