GLEN ALLEN -- Funeral service for George Allen Isom of Glen Allen will be held at 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Frederick Mouser will officiate, with burial in New Trace Creek Cemetery here.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:30 a.m.

Isom, 85, died Sunday, April 3, 1994, at his home.

He was born Sept. 16, 1908, at Sullivan, son of George and Mary Neff Isom.

Isom was a retired security guard with Wattling Ladder Co. He moved to the area in 1985, and attended New Trace Creek Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Robert Isom of Pacific; two daughters, Joan Courtner and Elveta Hulsey of Pacific; 16 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
