Geoffery Jean Allen Jabr, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at her home.
She was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Wilson, Ark., to Geoffery and Ethel Sutton Allen.
Geoffery was a world traveler and historian. She enjoyed painting portraits and reading. She raised five sons.
She is survived by five sons, James D. May and Anthony A. Jabr of Carbondale, Ill., Saleh S. Jabr of Tyler, Texas, Gus S. and Ali S. Jabr of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, JoAnn McCulley; and a granddaughter, Samantha Jabr.
The funeral will be private and held at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale.
