JACKSON -- Genevieve Mary Slinkard, 86, of Jackson, died Tuesday, May 4, 1993, at her home.
She was born Oct. 30, 1906, at Serno, daughter of John and Laura Prue Bernard. She and Luther Marion Slinkard were married Sept. 25, 1926, in St. Louis.
Slinkard was sales manager 25 years with Stanley Home Products in Kansas City, retiring in 1957. She was a member of OES Chapter 367 in Kansas City, Missouri Federated Longan Study Club, and honorary member of Scottish Rite and Ararat Shrine Temple, both in Kansas City.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Slinkard of Houston, Texas; a sister, Alma Katona of St. Louis; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Luther Rhodes will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, with an OES service at 2.
