DEXTER -- Geneva Glasgow Walker, 84, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at the Vintage Villa Nursing Center in Dexter.

She was born Aug. 6, 1912, a daughter of Luther C. and Julia May Glasgow at Rector, Ark. She married W.D. Walker at Piggott, Ark. He survives.

Walker was a member of the Sadler's Chapel Methodist Church near Dexter. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, William Jerald Walker of Crown Point, Ind. and Charles Allen Walker of Dexter; three daughters, Betty Lou McBride of Cape Girardeau, Dorothy Sue Isaacs of St. Louis and Carolyn Marie Dube of Columbia; two brothers, Bill Glasgow of Lake Arrowhead, Calif. and Jim Glasgow of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Louise Smith of Piggot, Ark., Eulalia Haywood of Greenway, Ark., and Ann Shelby of Augusta, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. today at the Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel with the Rev. Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
