SIKESTON -- Geneva Sexton, 69, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993, at her home. She was born Oct. 27, 1923, in New Madrid County, daughter of Gurley and Etta Kasinger Evans. She and Willard Sexton were married May 6, 1954, in Piggott, Ark. Sexton was a retired nurse's assistant in ICU at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church...

SIKESTON -- Geneva Sexton, 69, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993, at her home.

She was born Oct. 27, 1923, in New Madrid County, daughter of Gurley and Etta Kasinger Evans. She and Willard Sexton were married May 6, 1954, in Piggott, Ark.

Sexton was a retired nurse's assistant in ICU at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, and a stepson, Jim Sexton of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Kelly Grubbs will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
