GENEVA ROBERTS

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Geneva Roberts of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. Steve Shepherd will officiate, with burial in Anna City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until service time.

Roberts, 83, died Monday, Jan. 1, 1996, at City Care Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 12, 1912, in Johnson County, daughter of William Oscar and Ida Myrtle Rendleman Bird. She and Walter J. Roberts were married Jan. 1, 1931, in Union County. He died July 10, 1980.

Roberts retired as an inspector with the Shakeproof Division of Illinois Tool Manufacturing Co. in Elgin.

Survivors include two sisters, Jewell Kelley of Anna and Vera Howell of Chicago.
