GENEVA POSTON

DEXTER -- Geneva Poston, 69, of Dexter, died Monday, March 6, 1995, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born Dec. 24, 1925, at Bernie, daughter of Ralph and Cassie Onedia Murphy Beaird. She and Curtis D. Poston were married May 10, 1947, at Bernie.

Poston was reared in Bernie, and moved to Dexter seven years ago from St. Louis.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Terry Poston of Harrisburg, Pa.; four brothers, Wesley, Ronald and Weston Beaird of Bernie, Donald Beaird of Maryland Heights; five sisters, Reva Medlin, Ruby Machen, Mary Blevins, Audrey Hatchel and Neva Wilson of Bernie, and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
