OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Geneva Mae Watson, 72, of Olive Branch, died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 23, 1992. She was born June 29, 1919, at Benton, daughter of Richard E. and Ruth Ethel Dickerson Duff. She married Ralph H. Watson Feb. 17, 1940. Watson was a technician at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau 15 years. OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Geneva Mae Watson, 72, of Olive Branch, died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 23, 1992.

She was born June 29, 1919, at Benton, daughter of Richard E. and Ruth Ethel Dickerson Duff. She married Ralph H. Watson Feb. 17, 1940.

Watson was a technician at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau 15 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church here, Pulaski-Alexander Home Extension Association, and past president of Olive Branch Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Elaine Bonifield of Miller City, Susan Ziegler of Jonesboro, Ark., Mary Walts of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; her mother of Olive Branch; two sisters, Eleanor Duff of Columbia, S.C., Delphia Schauwwecker of Olive Branch; a brother, Herman Duff of San Diego, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a sister, two brothers and her father.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jesse Bellamy will officiate, with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 4-9 p.m. today, and at the church after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
