EAST PRAIRIE -- Geneva L. Finley Bush, 73, of Kansas City, formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, Nov. 14, 1997, in Shawnee Mission Hospital at Shawnee Mission, Kan. She was born Sept. 20, 1924, daughter of Clarence and Pearl Groves George. She married Cedric Finley in April 1943. He died in May 1967. She married Willie A. Bush Feb. 29, 1968. He survives...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Geneva L. Finley Bush, 73, of Kansas City, formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, Nov. 14, 1997, in Shawnee Mission Hospital at Shawnee Mission, Kan.

She was born Sept. 20, 1924, daughter of Clarence and Pearl Groves George.

She married Cedric Finley in April 1943. He died in May 1967. She married Willie A. Bush Feb. 29, 1968. He survives.

Survivors include a son, Bill Bush of Olathe, Kan.; a daughter, Seleta Finley Florez of Kansas City, Kan; two brothers, Clarence George of Canton, Ohio, and Hubert George of California; five sisters, Bonnie Spaw of Gladstone, Margie Jones of Charleston, Juanita Wills, Norma Stephens and Sue Belionta, all of Canton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Shelby Funeral Home Chapel at East Prairie, with Capt. Roger Glick of the Salvation Army of Olathe, Kan., officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
