PARMA -- Geneva Johnson, 77, of Evansville, Ind., died Thursday, May 1, 1997, at Holiday Nursing Home in Evansville.
She was born Aug. 21, 1919, near Vinson, daughter of John Henry and Dora Clenny Barrett Gregory. She and Lloyd Miles were married in 1939. He died Oct. 17, 1964. She later married Henry Johnson, who died May 13, 1989.
Formerly of Parma, she had lived in Evansville three years.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Miles of Poplar Bluff, Donald Miles of Evansville; two sisters, Pauline Lovette of Dexter, Ruth McKay of Calamesa, Calif.; six brothers, Vernon Gregory of Flint, Mich., Maynard Gregory of Sikeston, Grady Gregory of Dexter, Burl, Chelon and J.P. Gregory, all of Lebanon, Mo.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pete Mosbey officiating. Burial will be in Parma Cemetery.
