TAMMS, Ill. -- Geneva "Geb" Harvell, 82, of Tamms died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.
She was born Dec. 25, 1924, at Thebes, Ill., daughter of James B. and Opal Grant Wilson. She and Gerald Harvell were married Jan. 10, 1942. He died May 30, 2002.
Harvell was a member of First Baptist Church in East Carondelet, Ill., and VFW Auxiliary in Dupo, Ill.
Survivors include a daughter, Diann Kuni of Waterloo, Ill.; a son, Jay Harvell of Dupo; four sisters, Virginia Goddard of Arlington Heights, Ill., Patsy Brown of Cahokia, Ill., Laverne Thompson and Audrey Holland of Olive Branch, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
The funeral will be at noon Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Dean West and Brian Thompson officiating. Burial will be in McCrite Cemetery.
