GENEVA CAST

PINCKNEYVILLE, Ill. -- Geneva S. Cast, 56, of Pinckneyville died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Ill.

She was born Aug. 13, 1944, in Missouri, daughter of James and Laura Ricketts. She and Archie Cast were married Nov. 2, 1966. He died Nov. 5, 1998.

Cast was formerly of Cobden, Ill.

Survivors include a daughter, Anna Heine of Pinckneyville; two sons, Ricky Cast of Cobden, Ronald Cast of Carbondale; seven brothers, James Ricketts of Murphysboro, Ill., Frank Ricketts of Carterville, Ill., Donald Ricketts of Missouri, Leon Ricketts of Carlyle, Ill., Mitchell Ricketts of Tennessee, Claude Ricketts of West Frankfort, Ill., Jimmy Ricketts of Marion, Ill.; three sisters, Mary Tate and Joan Davidson of Murphysboro, Norma Ricketts of Arkansas; and grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cliff Waller officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Makanda, Ill.
