Geneva Brown, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at her home.

She was born March 26, 1941, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Henry and Hattie Smith Holt Sr. She married Johnny Mack Brown. He preceded her in death Dec. 9, 2020.

Geneva was a member of Lighthouse United Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Lee Spencer of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Martha Davis of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Angela Brown of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Henry (Evelene) Holt Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, and Grady (Debbie) Holt of Elkhart, Indiana; a sister, Bobbie-Jean (Howard) Williamson of Elkhart; five grandchildren, Marvin Spencer Cole, Lee Johnson, Tiffiny Worthen, Traci Spencer and Marsell Spencer; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Marvin Lewis Spencer; two brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at noon Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Adrian Taylor Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
