GENEVA BALLARD

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Geneva Ballard, 88, of Mounds died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.

She was born July 6, 1910, at Mounds, daughter of Timothy and Ida Burd Mahoney. She married John Ballard, who preceded her in death.

Ballard was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Burdie Crowe of St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds from 5-7 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. F.M. Speakman officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds.
