GENE NOTHDURFT

ADVANCE -- K. Gene Nothdurft, 67, of Advance died Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 12, 1931, in Advance, son of Robey and Marie "Helen" Dunning Nothdurft. He and Verna Lee Ervin were married May 7, 1960, in Cape Girardeau.

Nothdurft retired as an inspector at Arvin Co. in Dexter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Nothdurft of Dexter; a daughter, Regina Hodges of Delta; a brother, Ernest Nothdurft of Florissant; and a sister, Alice Nichols of Maryland Heights.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral homne, with the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
