ANNA, Ill. -- Gary Summers, 41, of Anna, died Sunday, June 23, 1996 at the Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born August 5, 1954, at Union County, Ill., son of Herschel and Wanda Jane Brimm Summers Cook.

He was a resident of the Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro, Ill.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Johnnie B. Cook of Anna; two brothers, Eddie and Mike Summers, both of Jonesboro, Ill.; and a sister, Sharon Broadway of Dongola, Ill.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Robert Goins will officiate.

Burial will be in the Anna City Cemetery.
