ADVANCE -- Funeral for Gary F. Stilts of Advance will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home. The Rev. James Brice will officiate, with burial in New Hope-McGee Cemetery at McGee.

Stilts, 54, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, at his home.

He was born March 11, 1944, in Louisiana, Mo., son of Franklin and Ethel Arnold Stilts.

Stilts had been a barber 36 years, and attended Advance United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Stacey Stilts of Los Angeles, Calif.; his mother; a brother, Harold Stilts; and a sister, Juanita Stilts, all of Advance.

He was preceded in death by his father.
