Gary Lee Province, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, at his home at the age of 71.
He was born Feb. 19, 1949, in Irondale, Missouri, to the late Wilburn and Imogene Youngblood Province. He married Connie Pulliam on June 3, 1972.
Gary worked for the Pocahontas Lumber Co. for over 38 years. He was a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church, and served his country proudly in the U.S. Army.
Gary leaves behind his wife of 48 years, as well as a daughter, Tracy (Scott) Cook of Marble Hill, Missouri; brothers, Larry (Shelia) Province, Dennis (Connie) Province of Irondale and Bruce (Mary) Province of Mineral Point, Missouri; sisters, Sandra Turley and Sharon Brotherton of Irondale; and grandson, Dylan Cook.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was Sunday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Little Whitewater Baptist Church, with the Rev. Donnie Ford and the Rev. Scott Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Pulliam Cemetery.
